Workshop: How to Design ur Resume

03 July 2010 - Today nak gi KL with my opismate, kak ct saba for one workshop. Bukan workshop yang 'pomen' kereta tu...Hehehe. Aku nak attend workshop yang akan ajar how to write an affective resume. Macam pelikkan bunyi nyer aku dah ade kerja tetap and boleh dikatakan stabil company apesal plak aku gatal-gatal nak attend workshop ni. Ntah lah lately ni aku rase bosan sangat nak gi opis aku tu.  Aku jenis tak suka duk relax if tak ada kerja. Duk sangap tunggu project yang tak kunjung tiba. Sangat lah membosankan. Ni namanya 'tak ada arah'.
Ok stop, i dont want to story the negative thing pagi-pagi buta ni. Let me talk about this workshop.

Before that klakar gak lah kita orang dua orang tak tau jalan nak gi Wisma UOA ni. Mula-mula nak naik komuter, LRT n monorel jer, (fuh segala public transport aku nak naik ni..hehehe) then hubby member aku ni risau plak dia suruh bawak keta. Dah siap-siap set kan En Gamin lagi. Yelah nak bawak laptop semua, then bag dia tak cukup besar so tak leh nak zip, mau tak risaunya..kehkehkeh. Tapi En Gamin ni buat prangai lah plak. Bleh plak dia hang. Kalut nak restart tak tau button mana nak tekan. But akhirnya kita orang berjaya gak tiba di pit-stop. Hoooyyeeaahhh....

Sesape yang fresh graduate, I really suggest this workshop to them. Lagipun workshop ni, free jer. Free knowledge orang nak bagi, so ape lagi just grab it lah. Tak adalah macam aku dulu after graduate, mengagau cari resume senior-senior aku untuk dijadikan template. Ha one good advise from this workshop, there is no template for resume. And tak semestinya you just ada satu resume jer. Different company, different resume mengikut 'budaya' company tu. One important thing yang aku tak ade dalam resume aku sebelum ni adalah, objective/summary. Nampak benda ni macam remeh, tapi bila aku belek-belek semula contoh resume yang dia orang bagi mase workshop tu and aku imagine aku di tempat HR; I want read that part for the first thing. Coz that part akan derive you to read the resume or just put a side the resume.

Susah nak pahamkan yea??? Sorry lah I cant reveal everything here. Kena saman plak aku nnt. Semua handout yang dia orang ajar tu pun tak bleh dibawa keluar dari bilik tu. Everything is P&C. Dia orang will sent the handout by email.
